How To (Sensibly!) Incorporate Crystals In Your Life
As someone who loves incorporating a spiritual element into my coaching practice, I’m passionate about helping leaders harness the power of crystals to elevate their impact and create a balance in their role.
But, let's get real — crystals won't magically manifest your dreams like in the movies. Rose quartz won't summon your true love from the heavens, and keeping citrine under your pillow won't make you wake up surrounded by money bags. Sensible, right?
Think of crystals as supportive tools, or co-creators in your journey. They don't create your life for you; they join you on the path to manifesting your desires. They are intention holders and accountability reminders. And they help us stay focused on what we want to create in life.
So, how do sensible people incorporate crystals into their life?
Treat crystals like goals.
Just as you nurture and care for your goals, give your crystals the same attention. If that rose quartz is gathering dust on the shelf, ask yourself if you’ve been putting off going on dates or exploring ways to meet new people. Let your crystals serve as reminders for what you truly desire.
Set intentions.
Take a moment to connect with your crystals and infuse them with your intentions. Speak your desires aloud or write them down. As you work with your crystals, let them hold the energy of your intentions, supporting you as you take aligned actions towards your dreams.
Get sensibly creative.
Explore practical ways to incorporate crystals into your daily life. Carry them in your pocket or wear them as jewelry to maintain a connection throughout the day. Use them in meditation or place them in areas where you want to invite specific energies or intentions.
If I could pick just three crystals to give each leader in a goody bag, here is what I would choose:
Black tourmaline — This is always at the top of my list! But especially in leadership to keep the slime of the day off of you. Consider placing it on your desk as a reminder to hold your boundaries and not let anyone walk over you and your ideals.
Carnelian — This is one of my favorite fiery, creative stones. It is especially lovely to have on a bracelet or a palm stone. It is nice to hold onto or fidget with when you are in a brainstorming space or trying to come up with creative solutions.
Turquoise — This is a really accessible stone that taps into the throat chakra and creates clarity of communication. I love wearing it as jewelry to see it on my own Zoom screen as a reminder to speak my truth with clarity and conviction. Small tumbled pieces also look lovely on a desk, too!
