Ask Me About Your Gremlin

Two months ago, I launched the Leadership Gremlin Quiz: A free resource to provide some whimsy and wisdom to your leadership development. I created the quiz with two goals in mind: 1) Appeal to anyone who loves a good personality quiz, and 2) Develop a way for someone to create awareness around the strengths and weaknesses of their current leadership style.

Brand-new last week, I’ve added two additions to the quiz to make it twice as fun and twice as valuable to anyone who takes it.

I’ve added cute caricatures! All four gremlin types have now been fully illustrated, and I like to think of them as sweet little mascots of your leadership style. While I mostly set forth to design them to just add to the whimsy of the resource, what I also find is that they are a great “print and post” – a resource for you to put somewhere in front of you so you can have reminders to practice new ways of being, within your leadership role.

I also have special debrief videos to dive more deeply into your gremlin type. If you have not yet taken the quiz, you will now have the option to include your email to be sent this free video. What I love about these videos is that they cover three key ideas to help take your leadership to the next level.

First, the “Turn Up” – aka the unique strength to your gremlin type. Your video will provide insight into how to make those strengths shine even more.

Second, the “Tune Down” – aka a unique weakness or growth area for your gremlin type. Your video will provide insight into how to practice something new in the face of that area, to develop your range.

Third, and perhaps my favorite, “The Integration” – aka the special blend of combining your strengths and your growth areas to create a totally new blend of leadership.
